Catholic Agricultural College Bindoon is a Year 7 to 12, co-educational College for day and residential students, situated in the beautiful Chittering Valley, an hour's drive north of Perth. Agriculture is a major focus of the curriculum.
With a student population of around 180 students, the College provides quality education in a close-knit, rural environment. Students come from rural and remote regions throughout WA as well as the Perth metropolitan area. The diverse nature of our student community encourages tolerance and understanding of individual differences.
Catholic Agricultural College Bindoon is a Catholic school built on a tradition inspired by their founder Blessed Edmund Rice. The College is governed by Edmund Rice Education Australia (EREA), the College Board, and the Principal. The College belongs to a group of EREA schools within the wider Catholic school system.
As a Catholic school, the College aims to provide an education that respects the dignity of each individual and encourages the growth of initiative, responsibility, leadership and involvement. Catholic schools are happy places to be. They are places where students and teachers feel proud and at home. Catholic schools bring their message not only to young people, but also to the general community. We strive to make Catholic Agricultural College Bindoon a viable alternative to the state system of education, building this alternative on Christian values.
Religious education is an integral part of our curriculum and whole school operation. Many of our students come from Catholic families and those belonging to other Christian religions undertake to participate fully in the life of the College on enrolment.
