Earnshaw State College is a P-12 College proudly serving the community of Banyo. Our students engage in a seamless curriculum from Prep to Year 12. Our college programs embed our traditional values of respect, passion for learning, responsibility and care, in all aspects of learning.
Our students commit to our college Motto, “Prepare Today for Tomorrow” as they develop deep understanding and knowledge in the three focus areas of Sustainable Futures, Community, Economics and Environment . At each level of schooling our students prepare to make significant contributions to the sustainability of our community and environment.
Our teaching is directly focused on a solid foundation of literacy and numeracy in each year level. Foundation studies, pre-requisite learning, and extension programs invite students to aspire to their highest potential. Enterprise Learning and Individual Pursuit Learning offer our students the opportunity to engage in complex, challenging learning experiences. sport, music and the arts are part of college life.
Students with special needs are supported in our Special Education Program. Their programs are designed and modified to meet their individual learning needs.
College facilities are excellent with a mix of new and newly refurbished buildings set in 8.43 hectares of well developed grounds and sporting fields.
