Beaufort Secondary College is a Year 7-12 college of 160 students serving a rural community in Western Victoria, approximately 50kms from Ballarat. Students learn in a beautiful environment beside Beaufort Lake. It is located in a precinct that includes most of the town's sporting and community facilities - the Beaufort Community Bank Complex, town oval, tennis courts, golf course and bowling green.

Because of the size of the college, students benefit from small classes and therefore closer personal attention. Nevertheless, through the use of flexible means of delivery and by making effective use of technology, the college is able to offer an extensive range of curriculum opportunities from year 7 to 12. At the senior levels, the college offers an excellent mix of academic subjects and applied learning options.
