Education Perth introduces Westgrove Primary School in Werribee, for all your education and learning needs.
Westgrove Primary School aims to provide a comprehensive education that engages all students in meaningful learning, enabling them to reach their individual academic, social, emotional and physical potential.
The Westgrove Primary School community values:
• respect of self, others and property
• responsibility for own attitudes and behaviour
• striving for excellence
The school is designed around three attractive courtyards with substantial landscaping. We have superb facilities including a synthetic running track, oval and softball field as well as a gymnasium, music room, art room and a well stocked automated library. Westgrove operates a Joint Use indoor pool on the school grounds in partnership with Paul Sadler Swimland. Six new classrooms and an open learning environment became fully operational at the start of 2011.
The school logo “Together We Grow” exemplifies the underlying principle of Westgrove being a school that has student and community welfare as a high priority and embraces the notion of staff, students and parents working together in partnership to optimise educational outcomes for students. The school implements a range of welfare programs including “You Can Do It”, Knowing and Growing, Seasons for Growth, Buddies and African Drumming.
The school fosters close links with the community and parents are welcomed as partners in the education process.
Welcome to Westgrove Primary School one of the popular educators in your Werribee area. Our aim is help you in your learning journey.
We endeavour to celebrate each other's uniqueness by providing opportunity for all and to develop a culture that identifies that the journey towards excellence is often paved with trial and error, risk taking, learning from mistakes, flexibility and adaptability. We believe that encouraging students to take ownership of the learning is critical in achieving the best learning outcomes and that implicit in this concept is that students learn their own areas of strength and areas of development, through useful and explicit feedback.
