The school has developed its own comprehensive curriculum covering seven key learning areas. Students have an Individual Program Plan, which forms the basis of their program at Nepean. Individual Program Plans are devised by teachers and therapists in consultation with parents through Program Support Group meetings.

The school's multidisciplinary staffing profile includes teachers, therapists, a registered nurse and support staff.
